This year’s edition of the Science Festival at the Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec took place on Friday, June 22. This school celebration is intended both to educate and entertain. This year—for the first time—the first- and second-year classes prepared booths representing countries selected earlier by drawing lots.

The school was filled with a veritable kaleidoscope of colorful characters, and visitors could sample exotic dishes. In a vote by the secondary-school students, the booth of class II d (Egypt) won. Class I b (Jamaica) came second. Third place was shared by: I a (Italy) and II f (Japan).

There were also language quizzes prepared by teams of teachers. Students also had the opportunity to test themselves in practice school-leaving examinations. The event was organized by the Student Council, whose supervisor is teacher Anna Słaboń.
