The body of a middle-aged woman was found on Tuesday (19 June) in waterlogged terrain near the village of Modła (Gmina Gromadka). The woman was a resident of Modła. The search for her had been ongoing since Sunday. The deceased had numerous injuries, indicating that a murder may have occurred. The District Prosecutor's Office in Bolesławiec is handling the investigation.
