The Family Festival was held in Ocice (Bolesławiec Rural Municipality). There was no shortage of artistic attractions. The performers on stage included: the young residents of Mierzwin (students of Bronisław Górecki), female and male dancers from the group led by Agnieszka Michalczuk, Eliza Sondaj, Magda Cichorzewska, Kasia Sondaj, a rock band from Żeliszów, beatboxers from 2 Beats Story and the Poeticon group.
The festival also featured a model aircraft flying competition, in which Daniel Skiba proved unbeatable. A football tournament for the Ocice Village Head’s Cup was also held. The team from Brzeźnik won the competition. The hosts’ team took second place. The footballers from Mierzwin came third. The prizes were funded by Bożena Długosz, the village head of Ocice.
The festival was organized by the Rural Housewives’ Circle, the Sports Club from Ocice and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
