From April 27 to May 6, Bolesławiec police officers conducted intensified operations called the “May Day weekend”. During the ten days and the May holidays that fell within this period, one road accident was recorded in Bolesławiec. In Bolesławiec County, traffic police carried out 399 vehicle inspections and responded to 23 collisions. Officers arrested 13 intoxicated drivers and issued 379 fines for traffic offenses. Most drivers were penalized for exceeding the speed limit. Due to the poor technical condition of vehicles, officers seized 29 registration certificates.
