The third edition of the International Orienteering Competition “Lower Silesian Forests Cup” has begun. The event belongs to the elite CTZ (Central Competition Calendar) group of the Polish Orienteering Association. Over three days (20–22 April), nearly 600 runners from Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Lithuania will line up at the start. It is the largest event of its kind in Lower Silesia and one of the largest in Poland.
The sprint race – at night (the first stage of the competition) – will be held in the very centre of Bolesławiec, while the middle-distance race (the second stage) will take place at the former Sahara military training ground in Przejęsław. The third stage will be held in Osiecznica and Kliczków. More information is available on Orientpark.pl.
