The road roller driver was arrested on 11 April. During their shift, on road no. 297 near Kozłów, police officers noticed a road roller driving erratically. After stopping the vehicle, the officers tested the driver’s sobriety. The test showed that the driver had more than 2‰ alcohol in his system. The police determined that the man was at work and reinforcing the road shoulder.
The man will now face court proceedings for driving a vehicle while intoxicated. He faces a penalty of up to two years in prison and the loss of his driving licence.
