The incident occurred on Saturday, 24 March, near Nowogrodziec. Before 12:00, a woman driving a Daewoo Lanos lost control of the vehicle and veered into a roadside ditch. The car overturned. Two people were injured in the accident—the Lanos driver and a passenger. Both were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. The woman suffered minor injuries; the man's condition is serious.
Four fire service units took part in the rescue operation—two from Bolesławiec and two from Nowogrodziec. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
