The incident occurred after 8:00 a.m. on the road between Łaziska and Warta Bolesławiecka. A BMW and a Lancia collided on the wet road surface. Both cars ended up in roadside ditches. Two women, who were driving the cars, were taken to hospital. The road is passable.

According to the police’s preliminary findings, the 41-year-old woman driving the Lancia failed to exercise due caution on the slippery road. The car she was driving skidded, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a BMW driven by a 38-year-old woman. Police are determining the details of the incident.
