Since 27 February, subunits of the 23rd Artillery Regiment have been conducting field training at the Żagań-Świętoszów Land Forces Training Area (OSPWL). The exercises began with a ceremonial formation during which Colonel Andrzej Lorenc, commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, recalled the main objectives and stages of the training.

As part of the exercises, the soldiers conducted, among other activities, Fire Direction Training under the code name “Zawieja 12,” as well as engineering and sapper classes during which the artillerymen honed their skills in using explosives and handling sapper equipment.

Alongside the sapper exercises, shooting classes were also held, during which the subunits threw live grenades.

The field training of the 23rd Artillery Regiment will continue for several more days, and it will conclude with Fire Direction Training under the code name “Huragan 12”.
