During the winter holidays and last year’s summer break, the studio organised workshops for children and young people. Their aim was to learn about trends and movements in art. The final workshop, “Useless Machines”, referred to the work of the Dadaists, Futurists and Surrealists.

The aim of the classes was to construct works from various materials that were no longer needed. Combined into whole objects, they created machines surprising in form and content, with unusual functions. These included “Training Robot – Euro 2012”, “Cybernetic Dog”, “Muting Microphone”, “Machine for Building Machines” and “Chirping Machine”.

The exhibition opening will take place on Saturday, 4 February at 12:00. Everyone intrigued by the names of the robots and fascinated by children’s extraordinary imagination is welcome.
