Zbigniew Wolański, owner of Zieleń Plan and the Mrówka building supplies store, received the title of Entrepreneur of the Year 2011. The Bolesławiec Business Association has presented this award for over a dozen years.
The other companies nominated for the award were Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej Spółka z o.o. in Bolesławiec and IBF Polska Sp. z o.o.
“The competition criteria are, first, turnover growth; second, investment expenditure and the fulfilment of obligations to the state treasury. In addition, charitable activity and innovation,” says Karol Stasik, president of the Bolesławiec Business Association.
The winner was selected by a committee chaired by Mirosław Seneszyn. The winner received Kazimierz, a statuette created by Studio Borowski, founded by glass artist Stanisław Borowski.
The nominations and award ceremony took place on Saturday, January 28, at the Entrepreneur’s Ball.
