The survey is intended to support the efforts of the Railway Enthusiasts to secure new trains for residents of Bolesławiec and Legnica. The survey results will be sent to the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, PKP Intercity, Przewozy Regionalne and the Committee for the Defence of Lower Silesian Railway Lines.
The survey would show the actual demand for long-distance connections from Bolesławiec and Legnica, which currently do not exist. The Railway Enthusiasts hope that the survey results can provide a basis for launching new, more convenient connections for passengers from Legnica and Bolesławiec.
