For several hours, traffic heading towards Wrocław was blocked on the motorway near Krzyżowa, close to Bolesławiec. The entire right-hand carriageway was blocked by an overturned truck carrying logs.
The injured driver was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec. He has suffered a spinal injury. Initial findings indicate that the driver moved onto the shoulder and lost control of the vehicle when he tried to return to the road.
