On Thursday, October 6, a briefing was held in Bolesławiec with the participation of Jerzy Łużniak, a member of the Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and Piotr Roman, the city’s mayor. During the meeting, Łużniak informed everyone present about the intention to transfer responsibility for the summer and winter maintenance of provincial roads in Bolesławiec to the Municipal Commune (this would take place on April 1, 2012). The proposed subsidy for this purpose—excluding repairs and investments—amounts to more than PLN 236,500.

The total length of provincial roads running through our city is more than 13.5 km.
