A reader informed us about the theft. She said that two scooters disappeared from a property in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki.
One of them is a white-and-red Kukirin scooter, while the other is a black Xiaomi scooter:
Two scooters were stolen (September 21) – one of them was a white-and-red Kukirin, and the other a regular black Xiaomi – from a private property in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, between 2:40 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
As the reader emphasized, the case has already been reported to the police. The owner is also asking local residents to get in touch if anyone noticed anything suspicious in the area during the night of September 20–21 or has information that could help identify the perpetrator.
What is the penalty for theft?
This type of offense carries a prison sentence of between 3 months and 5 years.
If the theft is classified as burglary, however, the criminal penalty is more severe – from 1 to 10 years.
