She drove despite a court ban and was also caught stealing cosmetics

Police officers from Zgorzelec detained a 32-year-old woman who was driving an Audi despite a court ban. During the inspection, it also emerged that the car had registration plates assigned to another vehicle. However, that was not the end of the woman's problems. Officers also proved that she had stolen perfumes and cosmetics worth more than PLN 2,000.

A roadside inspection took place in Zgorzelec municipality. Police officers from the Prevention Department of the Zgorzelec police headquarters detained a 32-year-old woman driving an Audi.

While checking the documents and the vehicle, the officers established that the woman was subject to a court ban on driving vehicles. In addition, the registration plates mounted on the Audi were assigned to another car.

In the course of further proceedings, officers from the Criminal Department and the Investigative Department of the Zgorzelec police headquarters established that the 32-year-old woman had also committed shoplifting.

The woman stole perfumes and cosmetics from one of the drugstores in Zgorzelec. The total value of the stolen products exceeded PLN 2,000.

The woman will face court for the crimes committed. She faces up to five years in prison.
