Officers from the Bolesławiec Traffic Department stopped a 45-year-old motorcyclist for inspection. On the road between Golnice and Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka, where the speed limit was 90 km/h, he was travelling at nearly 150 km/h.
For the offence, the resident of Lubusz Voivodeship was fined 1,500 złoty.
He also received 13 penalty points. Because he exceeded the speed limit by more than 50 km/h, the police suspended his driving licence for three months.
The police appeal for caution and for adjusting speed to the applicable limits.
