119 km/h in a place where the maximum permitted speed was 50 km/h. The speedometer of a 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, who was stopped by officers from the Traffic Division, showed this speed.

The inspection took place in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. The officers noticed an Audi driver who had significantly exceeded the applicable speed limit.

The measurement showed 119 km/h in a built-up area. This means that the driver was travelling 69 km/h faster than the regulations allowed.

A 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was behind the wheel of the Audi. Such a significant speeding violation had serious consequences for him.

Police confiscated the man’s driving licence for three months. The driver was also fined 2,000 zlotys.

Police remind drivers that exceeding the permitted speed by more than 50 km/h results in the confiscation of a driving licence for three months. This applies both to drivers travelling in built-up areas and to those outside them.
