The incident occurred on August 26, at around 1:00 p.m., at the intersection of Modłowa and Cieszkowskiego streets in Bolesławiec, near the new police headquarters.
According to officers, the 90-year-old Bolesławiec resident, driving a Smart, was traveling along Modłowa Street from the direction of Lidl. At the intersection with Cieszkowskiego Street, he failed to yield to a Ford traveling toward Kruszyn.
A collision occurred. Fortunately, no one suffered any serious injuries. The incident was classified as a collision.
The 90-year-old was fined PLN 1,100.
