The Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival has only just begun, yet drivers already have to contend with considerable difficulties. On Thursday around noon, long traffic jams appeared on the main roads leading to the center of Bolesławiec.
The biggest problems are on DW297 from the north, in the area of Cieszkowskiego, Zgorzelecka and Dolnych Młynów streets. The approach to the intersection with national road no. 94 north of the center is heavily congested.
There are also problems on the further section of DW297, already heading toward the center. Entry into Bolesławiec from the west looks similar. On DK94, near the approach from Zgorzelecka Street, a significant queue is forming before the roundabout and intersection.
It is only Thursday, meaning the second day of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. Because of the event, both residents of nearby towns and tourists and exhibitors are arriving in the city, which means traffic is much heavier than on ordinary days. In the coming days, the situation on the roads may only get worse.
Drivers planning to travel through Bolesławiec should therefore prepare for possible delays, especially on the main roads leading to the center and in the area of the Old Town.
