The participants in this year’s parade also included a presence from Bolesławiec. The ceremonial march through the capital’s streets was joined by the representative company of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment named after Lieutenant General Tadeusz Rozwadowski from Bolesławiec. The regiment represented the 11th Lubusz Armored Cavalry Division and our city, where it is stationed on a daily basis.
During the central ceremonies in Warsaw, President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz addressed those gathered. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of the Polish Armed Forces to the country’s security, thanked the soldiers for their service, and pointed to the development and modernization of the Polish armed forces.
The military parade was one of the main highlights of the celebrations. Thousands of soldiers from various branches of the armed forces took part in the event, while spectators could admire both modern military equipment and equipment that has been in service with the Polish Armed Forces for many years. Tanks, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled howitzers, rocket launchers, and specialized vehicles were presented along the route. A display of military ships and vessels was held in the Baltic Sea.

Soldiers from allied forces also took part in the Warsaw parade. Representatives of the armies of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Croatia marched alongside Polish formations. Soldiers from the French Foreign Legion also participated in the ceremonies. Their presence symbolized the cooperation and unity of allied countries within the common security system.
An air show was also an important part of the celebrations. Aircraft of the Polish Armed Forces and allied countries flew over Warsaw. Residents and visitors to the capital could admire military aircraft and helicopters. There were also drones.
The participation of the representative company of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in the capital’s celebrations is a source of pride for the residents of Bolesławiec. The soldiers from our city once again had the opportunity to represent their unit, division, and region during one of the most important military events in Poland.
