A ceremonial assembly was held at the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service. It was an opportunity to present personnel decisions, entrust duties in higher official positions, admit a new firefighter to service and honor officers who demonstrated professionalism during rescue operations.
During the ceremony, the County PSP Commander in Bolesławiec, Senior Brigadier Andrzej Śliwowski, presented the decision appointing the Chief Accountant. The position was taken up by Captain Katarzyna Kubis.
During the assembly, two officers also received decisions entrusting them with duties in higher official positions.
The oath-taking by a newly recruited firefighter was a special event. Junior Firefighter Michał Stępień took the oath, officially beginning his service in the ranks of the State Fire Service.
One of the most moving moments of the ceremony was the presentation of honors to firefighters from the Rescue and Firefighting Unit. The County Commander recognized their professionalism, commitment and effectiveness during intensive rescue operations that led to a human life being saved. The honor expresses appreciation for the firefighters’ daily service and their readiness to provide assistance in the most demanding situations.
