A group of young people held an alcohol-fueled picnic beneath one of the pillars of the Bolesławiec viaduct. It would not have been particularly shocking if not for the fact that the young people crossed the river... by car.

“This is the first time I have heard of such a case,” admits Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska, deputy head of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. “Municipal police officers often intervene along the Bóbr, especially on the boulevard. It happens that Bolesławiec residents drive their cars onto the green areas by the river, which is prohibited, but this is the first time I have encountered such a situation.”

The young people from Bolesławiec broke several regulations. This time, they will probably avoid unpleasant consequences. “It is a shame that the Reader contacted the media rather than the municipal police or the police,” adds Emil Zając’s deputy.
