“You too can experience an unforgettable bachelorette party at Wrocław Airport!” – with this slogan, Wrocław Airport began its latest social media post.

The airport is proposing that participants in similar trips visit the VIP lounge. As it explains, the comfortable space, individual service and intimate atmosphere are intended to ensure that the celebration begins even before departure.

One sentence, however, draws particular attention: “begin your journey in style”. In the current circumstances, it is hard not to read it with a wink.

The bachelorette party ended before takeoff

Several days earlier, almost all of Poland was talking about Wrocław Airport. On July 9, five women were supposed to fly with Ryanair from Wrocław to Zadar, Croatia. The trip was connected with a bachelorette party, but it ended before takeoff.

The passengers failed to follow the crew’s instructions, disrupted the peace and got into arguments with other people on board. The captain called the Border Guard, and all the women were removed from the aircraft. Three of them were under the influence of alcohol. The participants in the incident received fines and were removed from the passenger list.

A recording of the altercation quickly spread across social media and nationwide news portals. During the vulgar exchange, one of the women complained that her friend had ruined her bachelorette party. According to information provided to our editorial team, a resident of Bolesławiec was among the passengers removed from the aircraft.

The airport proposes a calmer start to the celebration

Wrocław Airport did not explicitly say that its proposal was a comment on the events aboard the aircraft. The similarity of the subject and the timing of the publication nevertheless make it possible to treat the post as an exceptionally timely promotion.

This time, the scenario is supposed to be completely different: a VIP lounge, comfort, an intimate atmosphere and a journey “in style”. It is worth remembering that even the most unforgettable bachelorette party is best concluded after reaching the destination, not before the plane takes off.
