As the road operator reports, renovation of the road surface of the northern ramp at the Złotoryja interchange on the A4 motorway will begin on July 14. The work will cover the ramp leading from the carriageway toward Jędrzychowice and Zgorzelec. During the works, drivers must expect the temporary closure of this section and mandatory detours.
The works will last no longer than until Saturday, July 18. The road operator notes, however, that the final completion date will depend on weather conditions.
What will be renovated?
The scope of the project includes replacing the ramp surface and restoring the road markings. Preparatory work related to setting up the temporary traffic organization will begin on Monday, while from Tuesday the ramp will be completely closed to traffic.
How will the detours run?
Drivers traveling on the A4 motorway from Wrocław and planning to exit at the Złotoryja interchange will be directed to the Lubiatów interchange. There, they will be able to turn around and return along the southern carriageway to the Złotoryja interchange.
Changes will also affect people wishing to enter the A4 motorway toward Jędrzychowice and Zgorzelec from the Złotoryja interchange. In their case, the detour will run along the southern carriageway to the Legnica Wschód interchange, where they will be able to turn around and continue their journey along the northern carriageway toward the country’s western border.
Drivers should exercise particular caution
While the temporary traffic organization is in force, it is advisable to pay attention to the signs installed in the area of the works. The road operator appeals to drivers to drive carefully and allow for possible delays when planning travel on the A4 motorway between Legnica and Zgorzelec.
