The incident occurred on 26 September 2026 at kilometre 81.8 of the A4 motorway toward Wrocław. The report of the collision was received by the Command Station of the Złotoryja County State Fire Service Headquarters at 3:32 p.m.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, they established that the truck with a trailer was lying on its side in a ditch beside the road.
Firefighters secured the scene and checked whether the damaged vehicle posed any additional risk. They also verified whether any fluids were leaking from the truck and whether the cargo being transported posed a hazard. The firefighters found no leaks or other hazards related to the transported goods.
The truck driver was provided with qualified first aid. The man was then handed over to a medical rescue team.
The police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for prudence and caution on the road.
