A serious incident occurred on Monday, 6 July, at approximately 5:20 a.m. Firefighters from Jawor received a report of a passenger car that, after leaving the A4 motorway, hit a road sign and burst into flames.

Upon arrival, the fire service crews confirmed the report. The car was already completely engulfed in flames, so the rescuers focused their efforts on securing the scene and extinguishing the fire.

Preliminary information provided by witnesses indicates that the people travelling in the vehicle left the scene before emergency services arrived. The firefighters thoroughly checked the interior of the burned-out car to make sure that no one remained inside. Fortunately, no one was found in the vehicle.

After the fire was extinguished, the scene was secured and further activities were taken over by police officers. The officers will investigate both the cause of the fire and the exact course of the incident.
