Parents have only a few hours left to submit an application for the 800 plus benefit for the new 2026/2027 benefit period. The deadline is June 30. Documents must be sent to ZUS exclusively electronically. Those who fail to do so on time will lose their entitlement to the benefit for June.

Most parents and guardians have already submitted applications for the 800 plus benefit for the new benefit period, which began on June 1 and will last until May 31 of next year. ZUS has already received 4.2 million applications covering 6.2 million children. Those who have not yet completed the formalities should not delay. Submitting an application in July means losing the benefit for June.

A parent who submits an application after June 30 will receive the benefit only from the month in which the application was submitted. This means that if the form reaches ZUS in July, entitlement to the 800 plus benefit will begin in July, without a retroactive payment for June. The exception applies to parents of newborn children. In their case, they have three months from the date of the child's birth to submit the documents.

Applications for the 800 plus benefit may be submitted exclusively electronically: via the mZUS app, the eZUS portal, electronic banking or the Emp@tia portal.

Payments Only to a Bank Account

People who submitted an application for the 800 plus benefit by the end of April retained continuity of benefit payments and received the payment in June. For documents submitted in May, ZUS has until the end of July to make the payment, while for applications submitted in June, the deadline is the end of August. Parents who submitted applications in May and June will therefore receive the benefit with a retroactive payment from June.
