The event’s greatest attraction will be the international groups, which will take the audience on an extraordinary journey through the traditions of Chile, Ecuador, Gambia, India, Mexico, Romania, Senegal, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. Every performance is not only a spectacle of choreography and live music, but also a unique opportunity to discover the customs, colors and emotions that have shaped the identities of individual nations for centuries.
The program will begin at 14:00 with a colorful street parade, which will proceed from the Obelisk commemorating the first Kresowiaks to the sports field in Żeliszów. This will be followed by performances by the local “Kresowe Echa” groups, after which the Gala Concert will begin—the highlight of the day, featuring international folklore groups. In the evening, from 18:30, participants will be able to enjoy a dance party together.
The “Świat pod Kyczerą” Festival has been bringing people together across borders for nearly three decades, showing that music and dance are a universal language of understanding. It is an event that allows visitors to experience many cultures in one day, feel the atmosphere of distant countries and enjoy an unforgettable encounter with traditions from different parts of the world.
Visit Żeliszów on July 4 and discover how beautifully the world sounds under Kyczerą.
