The case of cooperation between the Bolesławiec hospital and MEDASK continues to raise questions. Piotr Borys, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and a Member of Parliament from the Civic Coalition, commented on the matter.
The politician was asked about the situation involving the hospital, MEDASK and additional remuneration. In his statement, he noted that such matters should be examined both for compliance with the law and for the rationality of spending money.
– We have a company and such additional remuneration. I think that each such situation must be explained in terms of compliance with the law and the rationality of spending. Certainly – said Piotr Borys.
The deputy minister also commented on the quality of the Bolesławiec hospital’s operations. As he stated, the facility operates on a very high scale and with very high quality.
– Certainly, the quality and scale are the highest in Poland. That is a plus. However, the other matters, as in life, simply have to be explained from beginning to end, and we will also expect this from the hospital authorities – he added.
The case concerns the relationship between St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec and MEDASK. In recent weeks, among other things, we have asked about the rules of cooperation, the scope of services, settlements, and people connected with the company and the hospital. During a press conference, the facility’s director, Kamil Barczyk, argued that the hospital operates at a very high level, but at the same time not all questions concerning MEDASK have yet been explained.
The editorial office referred the case to the administrative court due to the lack of a response to a request for public information. The matter concerns documents and data regarding the hospital’s cooperation with external entities, including MEDASK.
