In Bolesławiec, another rotation of American soldiers is planned. The information was provided by Mayor Piotr Roman during Wednesday’s City Council session. He indicated that if the procedures go according to plan, a so-called transfer of authority will take place — the formal handover of responsibility between successive units.

This time, soldiers from Kansas will arrive in Bolesławiec. “This is a change that will primarily please restaurant owners and all service providers in Bolesławiec,” emphasized the mayor of the City of Ceramics.

Interestingly, the mayor hinted that there may be more US Army personnel than initially expected.

The presence of American soldiers in the region has long been one of the factors affecting the local economy. For some businesses, it means additional customers and increased activity in services, food service and retail.

The coming days will show whether the announced transfer will be carried out according to schedule and how large the new troop rotation in Bolesławiec will be.
