The incident occurred on Sunday, June 14. (The report reached the Command Post of the Commander of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service before 5:00 p.m.) Emergency services were dispatched to the scene.

As it turned out, two passenger cars carrying three people were involved in the incident. The collision was so severe that one person became trapped in a vehicle. Firefighters used specialist hydraulic equipment to carry out the evacuation safely.
Operations at the scene were conducted jointly with emergency medical teams. Two injured people received assistance and were taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious their injuries are.
Update
According to the police’s preliminary findings, the 34-year-old driver of a Fiat, a resident of Bolesławiec County, caused a collision with an oncoming Skoda driven by a 44-year-old resident of Polkowice County.
Traffic disruptions
The road between Osła and Gromadka is blocked. Drivers should expect disruptions.
The services are appealing to all road users to exercise particular caution and adjust their speed to the conditions on the road.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the accident.
