As reported by zgorzelec.info, June 12 was the deadline for submitting applications from people interested in the position of director of the merged hospitals in Zgorzelec and Bolesławiec. The portal:
One thing is certain: we can forget about the allegedly enormous interest that was being discussed “around town.” According to our squirrels, three applications were submitted in the competition.
Let us recall. At the end of last month, we reported that during the May meeting of the Bolesławiec County Council, a question was raised about merging the hospitals in Bolesławiec and Zgorzelec. Who will head the merged institution?
As the Bolesławiec county head Tomasz Gabrysiak emphasized at the time, the competition procedure for selecting a director “is quite complicated,” probably even more so than choosing the head of an educational institution.
The head of the county government explained to the councillors that first the competition committee must adopt its regulations, then prepare an announcement that must be made public for a certain period.
Next, time is allocated for submitting applications, of which there must be at least two.

It looks like it will take some time before we officially learn the name of the new director of the merged hospitals. The first meeting of the aforementioned committee is scheduled to take place at the beginning of June.
