A serious-looking collision occurred on Saturday, 13 August, on the A18 road near Parkoszów. At around 10:30 a.m., a truck driver rear-ended an Opel Corsa. The car left the road and ended up in a ditch. Two Slovaks—the Opel’s driver and passenger—were injured in the crash. Both were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. As we were able to establish, they suffered only minor injuries. The police are investigating the cause of the collision.
