The incident occurred on Thursday, June 11, before 1:00 p.m., on Nila Street in Bolesławiec. Two passenger cars collided there – an Opel and a Toyota.
According to preliminary information, no one was seriously injured. Police arrived at the scene and are carrying out activities to determine the course and causes of the collision.
However, the greatest problem for drivers turned out to be difficulties getting through. As a result of the incident, huge traffic jams quickly began forming along this route. The blocked section of road slowed traffic and caused problems getting through this part of the city.
Police are appealing to drivers to exercise caution and follow the instructions of emergency services. People traveling along Nila Street should prepare for possible delays.
A detour via Ceramiczna and Widok streets has been designated for drivers. The situation on the road may change as the services complete their operations.
