As reported by Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad, roadworks are being carried out on the A4 motorway between kilometres 35.970 and 37.000. (Between the Godzieszów interchange and the Bolesławiec interchange.) The total length of the section covered by the works is 1.03 kilometres.
Road workers began the work this morning. The goal? To repair the road surface. Unfortunately, this requires a temporary restriction of traffic. For the duration of the works, the right lane of the carriageway has been closed to traffic.
At present, vehicle traffic is moving exclusively in the left lane.
Drivers should exercise particular caution, follow the temporary road signs and expect possible traffic jams, especially during periods of increased traffic.
How long will it last?
According to current plans, the disruptions are expected to end on 17 June. If weather conditions are favourable, the work should be completed according to the schedule.
The road operator appeals to drivers to keep a safe distance between vehicles and adjust their speed to the conditions on the section of the A4 motorway undergoing repairs.
