The problem of finding available parking spaces is growing both in Bolesławiec and in many other cities. There are more and more cars, while the number of parking spaces remains insufficient. Many drivers, not wanting to pay for parking, look for parking spaces outside the paid-parking zone.
Some drivers used the car park in front of Kaufland as a place to park for the entire day, leaving their cars there, for example, while they were at work. This led to a situation in which practically the entire car park was occupied from morning until evening, and finding an available space was sometimes difficult for customers coming to shop.
The situation has now changed. The retail chain installed parking meters, and the car park immediately became less crowded.
Customers of the Kaufland store are now required to obtain a free parking ticket before going shopping. Drivers planning to park for longer must pay a fee.
The introduction of the new rules has made the car park more accessible to people visiting the store. Drivers who previously used it as a free place to park all day must now take additional costs into account. As a result, customers have an easier time finding parking in front of the store.
