On 5–6 August, two men suspected of drug-related offences were detained by police. The first, a 19-year-old resident of the Nowogrodziec municipality, had 11 portions of marijuana on him. He was caught because he began behaving strangely when he saw the uniformed officers. The second was a 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. Officers found 2 portions of amphetamine on him. What is more, the 30-year-old was drunk when he was detained. He had a blood alcohol level of 1.1 per mille.
Both suspects were taken to police custody. They face up to three years in prison.
