Residents of Bolesławiec can expect another road investment. The comprehensive reconstruction of Saperska Street is beginning. The scope of work includes demolishing the existing roadway surface, pavements and curbs. A new road structure with an asphalt surface will then be constructed. New concrete-block pavements will also be built to improve residents’ safety and comfort.

The investment will also include the adjustment of technical infrastructure equipment, the installation of new vertical and horizontal signage, and the development of green areas. Once the work is complete, the adjacent areas will be tidied up and selected surfaces will be sown with grass.

The modernization will cover a 275.5-metre section of road. The new roadway will have an area of 1,730 square metres, while the pavements will cover 470 square metres. The road will be between 3.5 and 5.5 metres wide.

The total value of the project is PLN 792,739. The contractor is ABM Zgorzelec of Jędrzychowice near Zgorzelec. According to the schedule, all work is planned to be completed by mid-October 2026.

The project is being financed from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
