From Wednesday, May 13, 2026, drivers will face major disruptions on provincial road no. 350 between Ruszów and Parowa. Due to renovation work, a temporary traffic organization will be introduced. The closure is to remain in effect until June 30, 2026.
The project is titled: “Renovation of provincial roads in the Zgorzelec, Bolesławiec and Lubań counties – sections 3, 4 and 5 of provincial road no. 350 – detour via provincial road no. 296 and national road no. 94.”
For the duration of the works, the section of provincial road no. 350 indicated on the map will be completely closed to traffic. According to the information provided, drivers are to use a detour via provincial road no. 296 and national road no. 94.
The scale of the disruption may be exceptionally severe. According to our calculations based on the map, the closed section is about 3 km long. At the same time, the official detour for drivers wishing to travel from one side of the closed section to the other may require them to cover as much as approximately 66 km.
In practice, this means that because of the closure of a short section of road, some drivers will have to make up several dozen kilometres. Some may look for shorter routes along local roads, but not all of them are in good condition. Some alternative connections may run along roads in poorer technical condition, including gravel sections.
The contractor says that the change in traffic organization is intended to ensure the safety of both the people carrying out the work and all road users. Drivers are asked to follow the signage and use the designated detours.
