As part of the renovation, the exits from the A4 motorway in both directions will be closed. Drivers will not be able to take the roundabout on provincial road no. 297, from which Bolesławiec and other destinations can be reached.
The renovation was originally scheduled to begin on 27 October. However, GDDKiA decided to postpone the date because of the expected increase in traffic associated with All Saints’ Day, which falls at the weekend.
What will the detour look like?
A detour via the Krzyżowa interchange has been designated for drivers travelling on the A4 motorway who want to reach Bolesławiec. They should then take the A18 motorway to the Golnice interchange.
Entry to the A4 motorway in both directions will remain open. The disruption will affect exits from the motorway at the Bolesławiec interchange.
GDDKiA appeals to drivers to exercise caution, follow the temporary signs and pay attention to the changed traffic arrangements.
