In the Market Square in Bolesławiec, an unusual scene has just unfolded. (Had it happened at night, it might have brought to mind the classics of heist movies). A massive, extremely heavy steel object was removed from the historic building – using a crane and a forklift.
It was probably a historic armored cabinet (safe), which had to be lowered from the first floor.
Due to its enormous weight and out of concern for the historic façade, the technical crew opted for an unusual solution. A forklift was used simultaneously to stabilize the load from below, while an HDS truck crane with transport straps secured the load from above.
