An evening intervention by the services on Gałczyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec caused considerable concern among local residents. The police, fire service and emergency medical team were dispatched to the scene.

Initial reports indicated that the woman had barricaded herself in the apartment. Earlier, there had also been reports that she had been running through the stairwell with a knife. Due to the potential danger, the services were preparing to force entry into the premises, while firefighters were equipped with protective equipment, including ballistic protection elements.

Ultimately, the situation was brought under control without using force. We managed to establish that the woman did initially refuse to open the door to the officers, but after some time she did so voluntarily.

The woman was handed over to the emergency medical team. She was ultimately taken to a specialist hospital, where she received assistance.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
