Collision and rollover on the A4 near Jadwisin. Traffic disruptions

On May 3, at approximately 10:08 a.m., the dispatcher at the District Command Center of the State Fire Service District Headquarters in Złotoryja received a report of a collision involving two vehicles on the A4 motorway. It occurred near Jadwisin, at kilometer 65 of the A4, in the direction of Zgorzelec.

At the scene, fire service units from Złotoryja and Legnica counties were immediately dispatched. Upon the arrival of the emergency services, it was determined that two passenger cars had collided. As a result of the incident, one of the vehicles overturned, blocking both lanes of the A4 motorway at kilometer 65.4 in the direction of the border.

The firefighters’ actions consisted of securing the scene, disconnecting the power sources in the damaged vehicles, and providing qualified first aid to the injured people. They were then handed over to emergency medical teams.

There are traffic disruptions. While rescue operations are underway, the A4 motorway in the direction of the border with Germany may be partially or completely blocked.

The causes of the incident are currently being investigated by the police.
