Repairs to the ramps at the Bolesławiec interchange

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways announced the start of repairs to the ramps at the Bolesławiec interchange on the A4 motorway. The work will begin on Tuesday, 27 October 2026.

As a result of the work, exits from the A4 motorway will be closed both from the direction of Wrocław and from the direction of Zgorzelec. This means that drivers will not be able to leave the motorway onto the roundabout along voivodeship road no. 297, which provides access, among other places, to Bolesławiec.

Detour via Krzyżowa and the A18 motorway

A detour route has been designated for the duration of the repairs. Drivers travelling on the A4 motorway who wish to reach the area around the Bolesławiec interchange will be directed via the Krzyżowa interchange and then along the A18 motorway to the Golnice interchange.

The change in traffic arrangements will be particularly important for people planning to leave the A4 in the direction of Bolesławiec and nearby towns. Before travelling, it is worth allowing for the additional section of the route and paying attention to temporary road signs.

Entrances to the A4 will remain open

GDDKiA points out that despite the closure of the exits, access to the A4 motorway in both directions will remain available. The restrictions will therefore concern the possibility of leaving the motorway at the Bolesławiec interchange, not entering it.

Road workers appeal to drivers to exercise caution and follow the temporary road signs and the changed traffic arrangements.
