Residents of Bolesławiec can help recreate the history of photographic activity in Bolesławiec. The Museum of Ceramics is asking people to lend any memorabilia that could support the “Photographic Movement in Bolesławiec 1945–2011” project. The culmination of the activities is planned for early October 2011. The programme will include photography workshops, a competition and an exhibition.
In connection with work on the project, the organisers are asking residents of Bolesławiec to make available photographs, catalogues, press clippings, memorabilia and other materials related to this subject. We also ask people who were associated with photography associations operating in Bolesławiec to share their memories concerning the members and activities of the movement—including exhibitions, competitions, outdoor photography sessions, etc. The request concerns lending or the possibility of copying documents, photographs and all other memorabilia.
Materials can be brought to the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, to the City History Department (14 Kutuzowa Street), Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (tel. 75 64422 00, email: poczta@muzeum.boleslawiec.net).
