The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket is an offer well known to all passengers. One ticket provides access to unlimited journeys on Koleje Dolnośląskie and Polregio trains. It is a solution for those who do not want to plan every journey in advance. Passengers can get on and off wherever they like, change directions spontaneously and make the most of the May holiday, especially since forecasts suggest the weather should be favorable.

“This year, the ticket can be used from Thursday, April 30, at 6:00 p.m. until Monday, May 4, at 6:00 a.m. That means several dozen hours of unlimited travel, at the unchanged price of PLN 59,” says Bartłomiej Rodak, press spokesperson for Koleje Dolnośląskie.

A May holiday full of destinations and inspiration

Modern rolling stock and increasingly shorter journey times make traveling around the region convenient and fast. For example, Kłodzko can be reached from Wrocław in approximately an hour and a half. Kłodzko Land is one of the most attractive destinations for everyone, combining spa facilities, mountain landscapes and a rich history. The same applies to a trip to Świeradów-Zdrój: the shortest journey from Wrocław takes approximately 2.5 hours, while from Jelenia Góra it takes just over an hour. This small town has a trail for everyone. It is home to a spa and a mineral-water pump room, the Gondola Lift, which takes visitors to Stóg Izerski, and the recently hugely popular Skywalk—the highest observation tower in Poland—from which the picturesque surroundings can be admired from a height of 65 meters.

Interestingly, Koleje Dolnośląskie’s offer extends far beyond the region’s borders. In Lubusz Voivodeship, it is worth visiting Nowa Sól and Zielona Góra, where riverside boulevards along the Oder and atmospheric town squares await tourists. Żary and Żagań, in turn, are destinations for those interested in history, with numerous historic sites and an interesting architectural heritage. In Opole Voivodeship, Brzeg deserves particular attention for its impressive castle and the Museum of the Silesian Piasts, as does Namysłów, which has preserved its intimate character and medieval defensive walls. In Greater Poland, Rawicz and Bojanowo are good choices—much quieter places, ideal for relaxation, walks and discovering less obvious attractions away from the largest crowds.

The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket and other tickets are available for sale online, at ticket offices and in mobile apps such as Koleo.
