Grzegorz Głuszak conducted a several-month investigation into the turbulent period in Karkonosze County, which culminated in the dismissal of Krzysztof Wiśniewski of the Civic Coalition as county head.
In the Superwizjer report on TVN24 of April 24, 2026, the story is presented through the eyes of Krzysztof Wiśniewski, who, like journalist Głuszak, was allegedly targeted by the same people: businessman Jacek Kostrzewa and Marcin Bustowski, who operates online.
The report begins by recalling the dispute over the road renovation from Karpacz to Szklarska Poręba, which we wrote about in 2025. It was a conflict between URBIT and the county authorities in Jelenia Góra. Jacek Kostrzewa, the company’s representative, accused the county head of delays and a lack of cooperation, while the county head claimed that the contractor had failed to follow the schedule and had threatened him with a penalty.
“Put simply: we paid for a Mercedes and we want a Mercedes,” Krzysztof Wiśniewski explained in the report while discussing his concern for public money. “For me, it is unacceptable to view an investment through the lens of one’s own benefit, but there are local-government officials like that. Unfortunately, they also come from my political world, and I am referring here to the Civic Coalition,” Wiśniewski added, outraged by his colleagues and the arrangements in Karkonosze County.
Hate and defamation
The TVN24 journalist shows in the report how, while working on the story, he became an enemy of Bustowski and Kostrzewa. He said he had been falsely accused of pedophilia, which he reported to the prosecutor’s office. The same people accused Krzysztof Wiśniewski of not having completed secondary school. As a result of these accusations, the prosecutor’s office is still examining the authenticity of the county head’s secondary-school certificate.
In the Superwizjer report, the journalist stated that Ewa Lijewska, Wiśniewski’s right-hand woman, who served as county secretary, also fell victim to insinuations that she was the county head’s mistress.
“The men who stop at nothing joined forces,” Ewa Lijewska says in the report about her haters. “They are very vindictive. In my opinion, very dangerous. They are afraid of nothing and no one. And they will use every means to intimidate or insult someone; they have mastered it to perfection,” Lijewska adds.
The county head remained silent about the official’s apartment
Grzegorz Głuszak’s report did not address the issue of a 70-square-meter municipal apartment, which during Krzysztof Wiśniewski’s term was bought by an official for PLN 1,300 (with a 99% discount)whom Wiśniewski employed. At the time, the official earned more than PLN 20,000 per month and received annual income of PLN 40,000 from selling sculptures.
As istotne.pl, we repeatedly asked Krzysztof Wiśniewski about the ethics of the county-office official’s conduct. He never responded. Formally, the county head was of course not connected with the transaction, but we expected his comment and his concern for public money, emphasized so strongly in the TVN report.
Jacek Kostrzewa refuses to give up
“I know who commissioned Głuszak to carry out this manipulation. Two months ago, a film was made about the corruption-prone arrangement created by Wiśniewski and about the TVN manipulator, Głuszak, who was supposed to whitewash Wiśniewski and Ewa Lijewska. Unfortunately, Głuszak failed. The county head was dismissed, and five minutes later Lijewska went on sick leave,” Jacek Kostrzewa told istotne.pl.
“In my opinion, Głuszak is a manipulator. The complaints and proceedings underway testify to that. Several weeks ago, I filed a report with the prosecutor’s office against this man. I use only the truth and evidence, which is why I am winning in all of this,” Jacek Kostrzewa adds.
“I filed a report in connection with criminal threats. This resulted from what I do and from the information I obtained concerning irregularities in spending public money. It was not merely a report about someone threatening or intimidating me, or saying, ‘I know where you live’; the matter concerns what I do. (...) Above all, in defense of the residents (...) They see a man like Bustowski or Kostrzewa, who drives a BMW and records everyone; they are simply afraid, and I am afraid for these people,” Grzegorz Głuszak said on TVN24 after the Superwizjer broadcast.
