The event is co-organised by Grabek Sport Jakuszyce, a bicycle rental service offering a wide selection of modern equipment for cycling enthusiasts.
The “Sports May Day Weekend” programme includes, among other things, daily SCOTT bicycle tests (MTB, eBike and road bikes) held during designated sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to try out the latest equipment collection on the natural trails of Polana Jakuszycka.
A guided bicycle trip scheduled for 2 May will be a particular attraction. Participants will set off on a several-hour MTB and eBike route leading, among other places, to a landmark destination on the map of mountain excursions: Chatka Górzystów.
That same evening, a May Day barbecue will be held at Polana in Restauracja Jakuszycka—an ideal opportunity to socialise and relax after an active day.
The May Day weekend will also conclude with free roller-skiing classes with an instructor, aimed at both beginners and those wishing to improve their technique.
Polana Jakuszycka and its surroundings are a true paradise for cycling and mountain-tourism enthusiasts. Scenic routes run through extensive forests, mountain meadows and the exceptional landscapes of the Jizera Mountains, offering both leisurely rides and more demanding sections for advanced cyclists. It is an ideal place to combine physical activity with being close to nature and discovering some of Lower Silesia’s most beautiful areas.
The Grabek Sport rental service operates on the premises, offering a full range of cycling equipment—from MTB and eBike bicycles to essential accessories. As a result, both beginners and experienced cyclists can make full use of the trails without having to own their own equipment.
Polana Jakuszycka can be reached conveniently not only by car but also by train, thanks to Koleje Dolnośląskie connections that provide comfortable and environmentally friendly access directly to the heart of the mountain trails.
Registration and participation
Participation in the event is free, but registration is required for selected activities due to the limited number of places. This applies in particular to bicycle tests and some special classes. Applications for bicycle tests are accepted by email at: rezerwacja@grabeksport.pl

The event is open to all, and the organisers encourage entire families, groups of friends and anyone who wants to spend time actively outdoors to take part.
