A fire drill took place at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment. Although the situation was simulated, the operations carried out at the scene accurately reflected a real threat. The aim of the exercise was to raise awareness and improve safety in crisis situations.
During the training, firefighters demonstrated the full course of a rescue operation. It was possible to see firsthand what coordination between emergency services looks like and how crucial a prompt and appropriate response is in the event of a fire. The realistic nature of the exercise made it easier to understand the scale of the challenges faced by uniformed personnel.
One of the most important elements of the training was the practical component. Participants had the opportunity to learn the rules for using fire extinguishers correctly and to practise using them independently. These are precisely the skills that may determine the effectiveness of the first response to a threat in the future.
The organizers emphasize that regular training of this kind is crucial for building awareness and preparing for emergency situations.
